Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander

- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed ajwain
- 1 teaspoon coriander-cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida powder
- Salt, to taste
- 1/4 cup curd
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 cup gram flour
- 1 tablespoon semolina (optional)
- Water, as needed
- Mustard seeds, sesame seeds, and Kashmiri red chili powder for tempering
Instructions:
- Mix cooked rice with chopped coriander, green chilies, ginger, ajwain, coriander-cumin powder, turmeric powder, Asafoetida powder, and salt.
- Add curd, lemon juice, and oil to the mixture.
- Mix in wheat flour, gram flour, and semolina (if using).
- Add water and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 3 parts and shape each part into a cylindrical roll.
- Steam the rolls for 20 minutes.
- Cut the rolls into pieces and temper with mustard seeds, sesame seeds, and Kashmiri red chili powder.
